Use Metroid (U) [!] for this set. (E) will not function, it's been linked elsewhere because of timer shenanigans causing problems.

Do not link Romhacks here. They belong in their own entries.

Pal timer would be shorter, not longer, on igt.

Morph ball pops correctly, use the RANes emulator this site offers, not retroarch. (Or use the nightly build (NOT THE STABLE RELEASE) of retroarch, with quicknes as a core)

Using RetroaArch is fine!

Do the ones for beating the game in a certain time stack or do you need to beat it 5 separate times?
5 Jun 3:59 2018
LordStigmat
They do stack

Battery save protection is added to the set as well as other fixes.

If you're playing on RetroArch please use QuickNES core only for this set.

Question: Am I going crazy or is the ice beam achievement glitched? Because I picked up the one in Brinstar first, then picked it up in Norfair but the achievement didn't pop. Was I supposed to pick it up in Norfair first for the achievement to work?

Fragmaster007
ice beam achievement is glitched

And I guess alienation is also broken.

Alienation wasn't completely broken but it's fixed too.
